Terms of service

Last updated 12 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Everpath AB (org. no. 559512-1491, Ursviks Allé 49, 17466 Sundbyberg, Sweden), which operates Sherpa at app.sherpaai.app and this site. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, do not create one. Questions go to support@sherpaai.app.

1. What Sherpa is

Sherpa is a tool for one person's job search. It reads publicly posted job advertisements, rates each one against the resume and preferences you give it, drafts application material in your words, and keeps track of the applications and interviews you tell it about. If you connect a mailbox, it reads incoming mail to keep those statuses current.

Sherpa never submits an application. Every submission to an employer is your own action, taken by you, outside Sherpa. Nothing in the product, including the optional browser extension, sends anything to an employer or a job board.

Sherpa's ratings and drafts are produced by language models. They are a starting point for your judgement and can be wrong: a score can misjudge a fit, a draft can misstate a fact. Read everything before you use it. Sherpa will not invent a title, a number or a skill that is not in your resume, and it flags a requirement you do not meet rather than hiding it, but the responsibility for what you send to an employer is yours.

2. Your account

An account is personal: one account, one person, one job search. You must be at least 18 years old. You sign in with a Google account or a link sent to your email address; keep those under your control, because whoever holds them holds your account. Your email address is your identity, and one mailbox is one account, however it is spelled. Temporary or disposable addresses are refused.

You are responsible for everything done from your account and for the truth of what you put into it. Give Sherpa only information about yourself, or information about others that you are entitled to use for your own job search, such as the name of a recruiter who wrote to you.

3. Plans and allowances

A plan buys a monthly allowance: a number of job advertisements Sherpa reads and rates for you, a number of applications it prepares, a number of saved searches, and how wide those searches may reach. The current plans and their allowances are on the pricing section of this site and on your account page. Some capabilities are unlimited on every plan and say so.

Reaching an allowance pauses that activity until the allowance refreshes; it never costs you anything extra and never breaks anything you have already done. Allowances refresh monthly from the day of your purchase. Unused screening does not carry over; prepared applications you did not use do.

A new account receives one free month with the allowances of the entry plan. It is granted once per person, does not recharge, and ends when you buy a plan or when the month is over.

Plans are versioned. The version you subscribe to is the version you keep for as long as you stay subscribed, even if we later publish a different one. We may widen an allowance on your version at any time; we never narrow one. A price change applies only to new subscriptions.

4. Payment

Purchases are processed and sold by Stripe, Inc. or its affiliates as the merchant of record: your contract of sale for a plan is with Stripe, Stripe issues the receipt and collects any applicable VAT or sales tax, and Stripe's consumer terms and refund policy govern the transaction. We never see or store your card details.

Prices shown in Swedish kronor and euros include VAT; prices shown in US dollars do not, and any applicable tax is added at checkout. The currency is chosen from where you appear to be and can be changed until your first purchase, which fixes it.

A plan renews automatically at the end of each term, monthly or quarterly as you chose, until you cancel. Cancel from your account page at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for and does not renew. A cancelled or lapsed plan returns the account to the free plan, which holds no allowances, and everything you produced stays in your account.

We do not refund the unused part of a period automatically. A job search that ends early is a good outcome, and if that is why you are cancelling, write to us: requests are read by a person and treated fairly, within what Stripe's policy allows.

5. Your content

What you give Sherpa about yourself stays yours: your resume, your preferences, your answers, your notes. What Sherpa produces from it, the ratings and the drafts, is yours too. We use your content only to provide the service to you. It is not used to train language models, not shown to other users, and not shared with employers, job boards or recruiters. The privacy policy says exactly what is stored, where, and for how long.

6. Job advertisements and third parties

Sherpa reads advertisements from public sources: the public pages of job boards, company career sites and applicant tracking systems. We are not affiliated with any of them, we do not guarantee that an advertisement is current, accurate or still open, and their own terms govern anything you do on their sites, including applying. Sherpa reads at a pace those sites tolerate and stops when they say stop.

7. Fair use

Use Sherpa for your own job search and nothing else. Do not resell access, run searches for other people, try to make Sherpa act as anything but a preparation tool, extract its data in bulk, probe or interfere with the service, or use it for any purpose that is unlawful. We may suspend an account that does, and we will say why.

8. Changes and availability

Sherpa is under active development: features change, improve and occasionally go away. We make no promise of uninterrupted availability. Material changes to the service or to these terms are announced by email to everyone with an account, and continuing to use Sherpa after that is acceptance of them; if you do not accept, cancel and ask us to delete your account.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by cancelling any plan and writing to us to delete your account; we delete it within 30 days. We can end the agreement if you breach these terms, and we can close the service altogether with 30 days' notice, in which case a paid period beyond the closing date is refunded.

10. Liability

Sherpa is provided as it is. We are not liable for the outcome of any application, interview, offer or negotiation, for decisions you make on the strength of a rating or a draft, for an advertisement that turns out to be closed, changed or misleading, or for the acts of any employer, job board or other third party. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and does not let you waive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes are handled by the courts of Stockholm, unless you are a consumer entitled to bring them in the courts of your own country. As a consumer you can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se) or the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
