Sherpa is an AI job search assistant that runs your searches on its own, reads every ad they find to the end and rates it against your resume. In a month of our founder's search, that was 6,133 ads, 1.4% of them a real fit: about 32 hours a week of reading, done for him. It never applies for you.

How it works

  1. Set your search once

    The job title you're after, up to two more titles Sherpa suggests for the same job, the levels, the titles you won't take, and a location search for each city, country or region, with the work modes you'd take there.

  2. Sherpa searches on its own

    Every location search runs several times a day, for every title, and only new ads come in. Found one yourself? Use Add a job by link and it's read and rated like the rest.

  3. Every ad is read to the last line

    Obvious deal breakers are set aside first. Everything else is read in full and rated from 0 to 100 against your resume, because the line that rules a job out is usually near the end.

  4. Your dashboard gets the ones worth a look

    Jobs that pass reach your dashboard, best first, each with the reasons it fits and the gaps to prepare for. The rest are kept with their reasons, out of your way.

  5. Prepare, review, and apply yourself

    For a job you want, press Prepare: a tailored resume, a cover letter and the application's answers, from your real experience. You read it, then you press apply. Sherpa never submits an application.

  6. Every interview process on one timeline

    Once you've applied, each process keeps its own timeline on your dashboard: every stage the company names, what's scheduled, and what's waiting on you.

Job search automation: common questions

Is job search automation the same as auto apply?

Not in Sherpa. What runs on its own is the searching, the reading and the rating. Applying stays with you: Sherpa prepares each application for the jobs you choose, and you review it and send it yourself. Nothing in Sherpa can submit an application.

How often does Sherpa look for new jobs?

Several times a day, for every location search and every title, on its own. Only ads it hasn't seen come in, and new jobs reach your dashboard as they're rated.

Can I add a job I found somewhere else?

Yes. Use Add a job by link on your dashboard and paste the job's address. Sherpa reads it and rates it against your resume like any job its own searches find.

Will I miss good jobs because Sherpa set them aside?

Sherpa sets a job aside on its own only for a clear deal breaker, and an unclear ad is rated rather than set aside. Every job it sets aside is kept under Not fit for me with its reason, so you can check any of them.

How many jobs can Sherpa rate for me?

Each plan includes a number of job ratings a month, and your first month is free with no card needed. Compare the plans.
